Vasyl Mykytiuk

Vasyl is a neuroscientist at the Francis Crick Institute in London, UK. He received Master's degree in Neuroscience from the International Max Planck Research School in Goettingen, Germany, and worked in neuroscience labs in Germany (Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research), Austria (Institute of Science and Technology Austria) and Japan (RIKEN Center for Brain Science) in the last 9 years. His research encompassed understanding of brain mechanisms, giving rise to emotional and motivational states. He has an extensive experience of using neurotechnological approaches (EEG, intracranial electrodes,  transcranial electrical stimulation, optogenetics) in research.
